Description

An extraordinary five-blade Sowbelly by master slip-joint maker Bill Ruple, combining classic American pocketknife styling with exceptionally complex multiblade construction. Five individually fitted blades are arranged within Ruple's gracefully curved Sowbelly frame, creating an impressive traditional folder while maintaining remarkably clean proportions.

The knife is beautifully handled in antique Remington stag, displaying wonderfully aged character with deeply textured dark bark and rich amber, honey and reddish-brown highlights. Rounded bolsters and the traditional Sowbelly shield complement the vintage character of the stag.

Especially impressive is the knife's intricate internal architecture—the multiple blades, liners and backsprings are precisely fitted into a surprisingly compact frame, a showcase of the craftsmanship for which Ruple's multiblade slip joints are renowned.

A superb and highly collectible Ruple, elevated by both the difficult five-blade Sowbelly configuration and exceptional antique Remington stag.

Blade length 3.5"/2". Closed Length 3.75"
