Logo - Since it is on a plain white background and the page it will probably be printed on is white, suggesting adding some tone… do you prefer one of these?

3rd one just has a border
Paul Farina:

Before she left
We had these made
What do you prefer?
MITCHELL D COHEN:
for the calling card - I do like the simplicity of the logo on white with all that space on the front. to drop
in a logo onto a page, I like number 2 or it just needs a defining border.

Antique Tibetan Gilt-Bronze Vajrasattva with Gold and Silver Accents
Late Qing Dynasty, circa 1850–1900
This finely cast antique Tibetan Buddhist bronze depicts Vajrasattva, the Bodhisattva of purification and enlightenment in Vajrayana Buddhism. The figure is seated in serene vajra posture upon a richly modeled lotus throne, embodying spiritual clarity, balance, and ritual authority.
Vajrasattva is shown holding a vajra (dorje) at the heart with the right hand and a bell (ghanta) resting in the left hand, symbolizing the union of wisdom and compassion. The deity is adorned in traditional royal bodhisattva attire, including an elaborate crown, earrings, necklaces, armlets, and anklets, executed with remarkable detail.
The sculpture is cast using the lost-wax method in copper alloy, with extensive fire-gilded gold applied to the face, crown, jewelry, and decorative elements. Areas of silvering are visible in the garments and ornamental details, providing visual contrast and enhancing the sculptural depth—an established technique in high-quality Tibetan and Sino-Tibetan bronzes of the Qing period. Natural wear to the gold and silver surfaces, combined with a deep, undisturbed patina, is consistent with age and long-term devotional use.
The figure is hollow-cast, with a hand-hammered copper base plate featuring ritual consecration holes, confirming its original religious function. Tool marks, subtle casting irregularities, aged oxidation, and mineral accretions throughout the surface further attest to its pre-modern manufacture.
Origin
Sino-Tibetan
(Tibetan regions under Qing influence, possibly Eastern Tibet or monastery workshops)
Period
Late Qing Dynasty, circa 1850–1900
Materials
Copper alloy bronze with fire-gilded gold and silver accents
Condition
Good antique condition with expected wear to gilding and silvering, natural oxidation, and patina consistent with age. No evidence of modern restoration or artificial aging.
⸻
Summary
This is a genuine 19th-century Tibetan Vajrasattva, enhanced with gold and silver detailing, representing a high-quality example of late Qing Buddhist bronze sculpture. Its refined iconography, precious metal accents, and preserved patina make it suitable for serious collectors, scholars, ritual use, or inclusion in a curated Himalayan art collection.

Antique Chinese Bronze Pixiu (Guardian Lion) Incense Burner
Late Qing Dynasty – Early Republic Period (circa 1880–1920)
A finely cast Chinese bronze Pixiu (also known as a Foo Dog or Guardian Lion) incense burner, depicted in a powerful, animated stance while grasping an openwork brocade ball, a traditional symbol of wealth, protection, and authority. The hollow-cast body functions as an incense censer, intended for ritual, domestic, or scholarly use.
This sculpture demonstrates skilled late Qing bronze craftsmanship, featuring a detailed cloud-scroll mane, expressive facial modeling, and a naturally aged dark bronze patina with subtle reddish-brown undertones. The hollow interior is consistent with its original use as an incense burner and aligns with construction methods of the period.
Details:
• Material: Cast bronze
• Form: Pixiu (Guardian Lion) incense burner
• Height: Approximately 10 inches
• Width (length): Approximately 12 inches
• Weight: Approximately 8.5 pounds
• Period: Late Qing Dynasty to Early Republic, c. 1880–1920
• Condition: Good antique condition with age-appropriate wear; one detached decorative element present (retained), consistent with age and historical use
Purpose & Symbolism:
As an incense burner, this Pixiu would have been used to burn incense during:
• Daily household rituals
• Scholarly or meditation practices
• Ancestral offerings or spiritual observance
In Chinese tradition, Pixiu figures are believed to:
• Ward off negative energy
• Attract wealth and prosperity
• Protect homes, temples, and businesses
Because of its size, weight, and symbolism, this piece would have served as both a functional incense censer and a prominent decorative guardian object, making it highly desirable to collectors of Chinese antiquities, Asian decorative arts, and Feng Shui objects.
