From the Demko website:
For those who have been around the Demko brand, you know that the AD20 has been the flagship for the MG (machine ground) family of knives. Well, if the AD20 is the flagship, the AD20 XXX is a true battleship.
The AD20 XXX is not simply a study in how large one can make a knife but, rather, how one can make a large knife well. This isn't simply an enlarged AD20. Demko designed this model paying special attention to grind geometries and performance metrics to allow the thick blade to excel at slicing tasks. Not all large knives can cut, but the AD20 XXX does it with ease. The weighty blade also adds a lot of reinforcing strength to the thin edge, easily pushing the blade through difficult materials.
