Warenski, Buster - Gold Engraved Scrimshaw Bowie
BUSTER WARENSKI, RICHFIELD, UTAH, ART KNIFE BOWIE, SCRIMSHAWED IVORY, GOLD ENCRUSTED GUARD, ENGRAVED BOLSTERS, c. 1966-2005, 16 5/8” KNIFE, 11 ¼” flat ground clip blade, ¼” thick stock, nearly 2” deep, pronounced sharpened false edge. Outstanding finish, hand rubbed satin, signed “B. WARENSKI, RICHFIELD, UTAH.” The oval 3 ½” wide guard is also a work of art by itself, with satin nickel silver both sides, surrounding encrusted 18k gold floral design in low relief. Flat sided ivory handle, four (4) pins, fully exposed straight tang, one thin pin check, outstanding Warenski scrimshaw, flying American Eagle, with “BORN FREE” ribbon. Deeply engraved Warenski engraved bolsters, coffin end pommel. Black leather sheath, stainless steel throat and tip, fully engraved. Couple of light scratches on the throat and tip. Buster Warenski is regarded as one of the greatest Art knife creators of all time. Art knives are focused on ornamentation and this one has much to offer. In the 1980’s he made several legacy knives, including the World’s most expensive custom knife, “The Gem of the Orient, which took 10 years from beginning to end, with 153 emeralds, 9 diamonds, jade, with gold filigree. It sold for $2.1 million at auction. The King Tut Dagger (32 oz. of gold) and the Fire of Ice dagger are part of the legacy group. Buster Warenski is a Cutlery Hall of Fame member and past President of Knifemaker’s Guild, who passed in 2005. Mint Condition.

For layaway, all knives and/or collectibles must be purchased, in full, within 90 days. Thereafter, we will put the knife back up for sale. Our gallery offers a few payment plan options including KLARNA (US only at this time). If you wish to pay using Zelle, mailing a check or sending a wire transfer, more information is available during check out. If you wish to use your credit card, there is a 4% fee for using a credit card.

Shipping & Returns
All packages are shipped via FedEx, Insured w/ Signature Required Upon Delivery; International FedEx shipments must be discussed prior to shipping.

RETURNS:
Please contact us within three days of receipt for a refund of the cost of the knife: studio@farinafinearts.com. Shipping and insurance charges are not refundable. You are required to ship the knife back using FedEx and it must be fully insured. Returns are subject to a 10% restocking fee and processing fees. All items must be returned in the same exact condition as it was received. Most custom knives are guaranteed by the makers we represent and most factory knives carry the manufacturer's warranty. We do not guarantee the durability of natural handle materials (such as bone, wood, pearl, etc...) or the reaction of any material to water and air (rust, oxidation, etc.) If an item needs to be returned due to our error, we may offer a full refund at our discretion. Any condition visible in our product pictures is considered to be disclosed and does not constitute an error or omission on our part.
