C + C, JOSEPH ELLIOT & SONS, SHEFFIELD PUBLISHED STAG MULTI-BLADE SPORTSMAN'S KNIFE, c. 1870-80'S
4 5/8" Knife, master flat spear blade, large saw blade, screwdriver, can opener, pen, triangular leather punch, grooved corkscrew and awl. The blade are all tight, good snaps, with original polish, no pitting and no patina. Riich dark stag scales, no crack or chips, over milled brass liners, with large Federal style nickel silver shield. Top nicket silver "horseshoe" bolsters and no button bolsters. Large nick silver bail at the pommel. Slide outs include a long pricker and long tweezers. This knife is very stout and thick, nearly 1" thick. From the outstanding David Hayden-Wright English collection, who passed in 2006. This knife is pictured on p.80 of his book "The Heritage of English Knives," published in 2007.

Shipping and insurance charges are not refundable. You are required to ship the knife back using FedEx and it must be fully insured. Returns are subject to a 10% restocking fee and processing fees. All items must be returned in the same exact condition as it was received. Most custom knives are guaranteed by the makers we represent and most factory knives carry the manufacturer's warranty. We do not guarantee the durability of natural handle materials (such as bone, wood, pearl, etc...) or the reaction of any material to water and air (rust, oxidation, etc.) If an item needs to be returned due to our error, we may offer a full refund at our discretion. Any condition visible in our product pictures is considered to be disclosed and does not constitute an error or omission on our part.
