Art Knife Invitational, 2022
The Art Knife Invitational Show is a one day show featuring some of the the world’s most collectible knifemakers before an invited group of distinguished collectors. It's considered one of the most prestigious knife shows in the world. The knife makers that make up the AKI, are chosen by a vote of their peers. To become an AKI knifemaker is difficult. To be considered, you must be one of the very best in the world, and then pass a long vetting and voting process. The competition created by this process and membership within this group insures the creation of some wonderfully innovative knives. This unique show is an excellent opportunity to upgrade your collection, buy an outstanding investment piece or several since the emphasis is on more innovative work. Previous AKI shows have been the showplace for these makers to unveil new models, new locking mechanisms, new trademarks, one of a kind examples and a lot of really creative work. This longstanding tradition carries on today. This year's AKI was held in Las Vegas, NV.
The show was a success for FFA, with two new acquisitions:
An engraved, subhilt integral fighter by Fabrizio Silvestrelli and an engraved automatic folder by Alex Gev, engraved by Alex Gev. View these two incredible pieces in the gallery. Prices are upon request.
