Sheffield - IXL, George Wostenholm, 4 Blade Folder with "Antique Amber"

Comes with custom leather case.

G. WOSTENHOLM, SHEFFIELD, ENGLAND, TORTOISE & GOLD EQUAL END SENATOR SHEFFIELD EXHIBITION KNIFE, c. 1890, 3 1/8” KNIFE, four (4) blades, master spear, two pens, manicure with knife point.  All blades are mint, bright (black polish), long match striker pulls, which extend through the ricassos.  Elaborate jimping (fluting) on their spines. All tight with good snaps. Beautiful tortoise shell scales, one very thin crack at the front top pin, solid-gold bar shield, gold pins and rolled-gold-covered backsprings.  Backsprings are inside file worked.  Factory cased in original IXL factory telescoping mint box. This knife is pictured on p. 142 of “SHEFFIELD EXHIBITION KNIVES.”  This is as good as it gets, tortoiseshell, gold, file work, original box and published.

SHIPPING: All knives are shipped via FedEx 2-day, insured with signature required upon delivery (unless noted otherwise). In order to ship your item(s) we need your full name, exact address, phone number and email address.


RETURN POLICY: Please contact us within three days of receipt for a refund of the cost of the knife: studio@farinafinearts.com. Shipping and insurance charges are not refundable. Returns are subject to a 10% restocking fee and credit card or PayPal processing fee. All items must be returned in the same exact condition as it was received and must be shipped fully insured via FedEx. Most custom knives are guaranteed by the makers we represent and most factory knives carry the manufacturer's warranty. We do not guarantee the durability of natural handle materials (such as bone, wood, pearl, etc...) or the reaction of any material to water and air (rust, oxidation, etc.)  If an item needs to be returned due to our error, we may offer a full refund at our discretion. Any condition visible in our product pictures is considered to be disclosed and does not constitute an error or omission on our part.
