Tuch Knives transcend utility functionality and land squarely in the realm of fine art knives. They are so beautiful and precise, the fact that they are intended to cut things seems like a distant afterthought. The Sparrowhawk is a Tuch Knife through and through, with the hidden gem of being an automatic knife to those in the know. It functions pretty much the same as every other one before it; you can use the knife in manual fashion with the dual thumb studs or slide the presentation scale toward the spine and watch the show. The auto action is snappy and authoritative, but not so much so that the knife will go flying from your hand. That's probably thanks to its compact size; the Sparrowhawk is a three-finger folder with a 2.75" blade. This model features a two-tone mirror polished blade with satin flats, void-less carbon fiber handle scales, a stainless steel backspacer, and blue anodized accents. The pocket clip is attached with hidden hardware, a nice touch of class yet we'd expect nothing less from William. For those looking for an EDC knife with a great deal of class but not over the top, the Sparrowhawk is the knife that will set you apart from the crowd.
