The Story of the "Old Dog" Folding Hunter
The Old Dog Folding Hunter is a Cattaraugus 1079.
This was a knife on Tony Bose's desk he wanted to bring back to life. Unfortuntely he passed before he was able to pattern + build it.
Just recently Reese Bose patterned this knife. As a tribute to Tony he named it the "Old Dog" Folding Hunter.
It is very unique that it is a rounded flush joint.
Tom Ploppert admired Reese's work and he was kind enough to share the pattern with Tom.
This is Tom's Prototype.
